Si Miller is a photographer based in Preston, Lancashire. He was born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he started photographing at the age of sixteen. He studied photography at the University of Central Lancashire, UCLAN. He excelled in his course and gained recognition when he has shortlisted for the Guardian's student photographer of the year in 2008. He also won photographer of the year in Uclan student union's media awards. His love and passion for photography has seen him take on a wide variety of photographic jobs all over England. Working in lots of different fields of photography including commercial advertising, fashion, portraiture and wedding photography. He has worked for some prestigious photographers and had a placement at the Daily Telegraph where he gained experience and knowledge in professional practice. He is currently working on a number of personal projects as well as working as a freelance photographer for a number of companies in the North West. He is available for hire and commissions.
